Additional Vendor Info

Here are some additional important details for vendors who are exhibiting at the West Kentucky Boat & Outdoor Show — Murray.

Move-In & Setup

Exhibitors will be able to begin moving in and setting up on Thursday, January 6th. Times for Lower Level exhibitors will be determined on where your booth is located.  This information will be available the week prior to the show.  Upper Level exhibitors will be able to begin setting up at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.  The facility will close to vendors at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and re-open at 7:00 a.m. on Friday.

Drive-In Access

Lower Level exhibitors have the ability to drive into the facility to off-load their merchandise and/or boats, etc.  However, please drive slowly and do not squeal your tires, as this marks the floor.

Limited drive-in accessibility on the Upper Level.

Load-Out

The show ends at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday.  You may not begin moving out until 4:00 p.m.  You must have everything out of the CFSB Center on Sunday night unless other arrangements have been made.

Boat Plugs

All boats must be plugged prior to entering the facility and must remain plugged throughout the event.

Hand Carts

There are several handcarts available for you to use to move things in and out. Please try to use these as quick as possible so they will be available for the other exhibitors to use.

Tables & Chairs

All upper level exhibitors will have one table and two chairs already set up in their booth. Additional tables (not already requested) will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.  For lower level exhibitors, tables and chairs will be located in the loading dock area. You may help yourself.

Protecting The Floor

The CFSB Center prohibits the use of all types of SPRAY cleaning products inside the CFSB Center, with the exception of water. These types of products damage the floor. It also makes the floor slick and dangerous and can be difficult or impossible to clean. Cleaning wipes may be used, however please make sure they do not touch the floor.

The following cleaning wipes may be used:

  • Armor All Protectant Cleaning and Glass Wipes
  • Armor All Glass Cleaning Wipes
  • Stoner Glass Cleaning Wipes
  • Black Magic All-Purpose Cleaning Wipes
  • Pledge Multi-Surface Wipes
  • Windex Original Glass and Surface Wipes
  • Meguiar’s Natural Shine Protectant Wipes
  • Meguiar’s Supreme Shine Wipes

If you have tires in your booth, you must put carpet squares underneath them. The CFSB Center has carpet squares available. The carpet squares should be place carpet-side down. Additionally if you have heavy items or something in your booth that may damage the floor, the CFSB Center has plywood available for your use.

Balloons

The CFSB Center prohibits the use helium filled balloons anywhere in the facility, either to decorate or to give away.

Gaining Entrance Before Show Hours

On Saturday and Sunday, exhibitors will be able to get into the facility one hour prior to the doors opening. The door at the loading dock and the left door at the VIP Lobby entrance will be the only ones unlocked prior to the show opening.

Temporary Vendor Sales Tax Permit

If your business is located outside the state of Kentucky and you will be selling merchandise at the event, you must obtain a Temporary Vendor Sales Tax Permit. These forms will be available during Check-In.

Kentucky Sales Tax Number

If you already have a sales tax number, the state of Kentucky requires that you fill out a form indicating your tax number and returning it to their office in Paducah.  The form will be included with your check-in documents.

Deposits

A 25% deposit for Lower Level Exhibitors and a 50% deposit for Upper Level Exhibitors is required at the signing of the Exhibit Agreement. Deposits are non-refundable unless the show is cancelled.

Balance Due

The balance due is required in full prior to setting up at the Show. Only checks and cash will be accepted.

Invoices/Co-op

If you need a paid invoice for co-op purposes, please e-mail Nancy after the show. Include what portion of your booth cost needs to be attributed to what particular co-op. I will prepare these for you and will e-mail them to you in a word document. If you would prefer I mail them to you, please note that in your e-mail.
